Journal Prototype II
We just passed the 95% mark on our journey to the first funding goal, $2000. That means we now have over $1900 raised! To celebrate, here’s another sneak peek at the journal system, this time with Catherine’s journal. Remember that these are not necessarily final graphics or animations. It’s not in-game footage, just a prototype.
Update: Here’s the Prison Book, as well:

Haha, I noticed! The second texture was different from the other two. I hadn’t even thought about the secret note. Nice looking!
Why does the note come out of the book? Do you carry it separately?

The secret note came out of the book in the original, so it should come out in the remake.

Are you sure? I don’t remember that.
I played through again just to confirm. It definitely doesn’t come out.

The prison book looks great! You might want to check the speed of the gateway image rotation against the original, if you’re trying to make it feel just like Riven.
I’m really looking forward to this.

The gateway image is a placeholder, we’ll be replacing it with our own before this is finalized. 🙂
